Fifteen men and women from the Lafayette-Orinda Presbyterian Church in Lafayette California traveled to Visakhapatnam, India to visit the Children’s Home. They planned lots of fun activities and lessons to share with the children and brought supplies for crafts and games. After a warm welcome the children started making friends with the visitors.
The visitors brought gifts to give the children and enjoyed getting to know them. Some of the visitors sponsor children at the Home and had the opportunity to meet them.
Singing, carpentry, and sewing are just a few of the activities everyone is enjoying together.
The children work in Harmony and are synchronized in a manner I have never seen before, Undoubtedly they have been taught, but the attitude runs so deep, it seems natural not forced. A bit of God’s kingdom on Earth.

The children filled balloons with messages about kindness, and during science lessons learned to blow bubbles with bubble gun while predicting the outcome of their experiment.
