From a humble one-story home to two three-story dormitories, the Children of Faith Home has grown! The children have been growing too. Meet the first five children that came to Children of Faith and learn how they have grown. They began the legacy that has transformed the lives of nearly 1000 children in India. So many children have grown, blossomed with care and education at the Home. Today these first five children have completed their education and have good jobs to support themselves and their families.
Samuel always loved painting while growing up at Children of Faith, today he is married and working in a professional painting business. Varsmi, works as an electrical technician. Vijay Ganti now works as a teacher, Ch Vijay works as a mechanical engineer and Krupa Rani just graduated from College. Rosie and Anand are so proud of the young adults these children have become, and so many others they’ve watched grow and blossom. Most of the “graduates” keep in touch and visit the Home.
Ch Vijay recently visited the Home to talk about his experience at Children of Faith. After growing up in the Children of Faith Home he graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He is now working in that field. He is an inspiration to the children now living in the Home.
You can learn more about Vijay and the impact Children of Faith has had on his life at our 20th Anniversary Celebration. We’ll be sharing a video that includes Vijay, and you’ll meet some of the other children who have followed in Vijay’s footsteps at the home, and hear how Children of Faith has transformed their lives.
Where I came from is a tough place to live, no one encourages you to go to school, they want children to work. I never thought I would go to school, but after coming to Children of Faith I got to go to school. I have graduated as a Mechanical Engineer from one of the top Universities in Vizag and now I have my first job. I hope to be an inspiration and support Children of Faith.
