Anand is nearing the end of his one month visit to the US. During this trip he traveled to Lakeway, Texas and Seattle, Washington in addition to spending time in the California Bay Area. He was able to share with many supporters news of the good work he and his wife Rosie are doing at Children of Faith. Rosie has joined him for the last few days of his visit and she will stay on to meet with friends and more supporters. Anand will return to the Home to oversee the opening of the newly constructed Dining Hall/Kitchen on the COF Campus.
While Rosie and Anand are away the Children of Faith Staff is overseeing the day to day operations of the Home. School continues, of course, as the oldest students are receiving their College acceptance letters and the 10th graders are already studying hard to prepare for their spring exams that will determine their placement in Junior College. While in the US Anand shared news about the success of the COF education program, known as Hope Academy. Anand met with many supporters, here a look at a few….
Anand attended worship services at several churches, he met with Youth groups and joined Children of Faith Board members at meetings and planning sessions.
It was great to see friends after two years. I enjoyed the weather, food, fun and opportunity to meet with COF supporters. It means so much for us to keep the communication back and forth. I cannot say how much I appreciate the support and prayers from our US family which helps us continue to transform the lives of our children.
