We celebrated the opening of the latest addition to the Children of Faith Campus, our new spacious Dining Hall and modern kitchen. The children were thrilled to be in the new building. They dressed in their new Christmas outfits and celebrated with a catered meal. They were joined by members of the local community, and family and friends of the Children’s Home.
We had an official ribbon cutting. The children were proud to pose by their new Dining Hall.
Today has been an amazing day, a day to glorify God for all the great things He has done. We never imagined having such a beautiful dining hall, kitchen, storage area, and this wonderful building. Everything we see today is because of God’s faithfulness and provision. Jireh is a house of God’s provision. This place will be filled with His blessings, where meals are shared, lives are cared for, and God’s love is experienced every day. We opened Jireh with prayer, singing, and praising God’s name. We enjoyed a wonderful meal together and thanked God for the food and for every hand that prepared it. Most importantly, we dedicated this building for God’s glory and for the purpose He has planned

Each year Children of Faith serves about 10,000 meals to the growing children in the Home. That’s a lot of rice, vegetables and meat! Our new kitchen will provide ample storage to allow the bulk purchases that are needed as well as clean cooking appliances and a designated dishwashing area. The staff have a separate dining area, and the children have new, sturdy custom made tables and chairs.
This project began at our 20th Anniversary Celebration in May of 2024. 300 people joined us to show their support for the work of Children of Faith in India. Together we raised the funds to build and furnish this building. After years of cooking over an open fire and in a temporary shelter barely shielded from the rain our cooks are thrilled to now be able to nourish our growing children in their new kitchen.

We provide Shelter, nutrition and education for over 100 school age children. We are changing their lives, breaking the cycle of poverty. We know our program is effectives because our graduates are working in good jobs, marrying and raising families of their own. Join is and make a difference in the life of a young child in India.
