Although we do not observe Thanksgiving in India, we pause on this US Holiday to reflect on the generosity that is making our new kitchen/dining hall construction possible. Work continues on this building and the children are enjoying watching the progress. We are so grateful to be making this improvement.
Support columns will be ten feet high and the roof will be put on them. 18 of the 27 required columns are already started. A lot of dirt must be excavated and later back filled, since there is nowhere to put the dirt it is being done in sections. The weather has been favorable for this work, if this continues the roof could be in place by the end of December.
For Jeebon, who is an engineering student, it is a great experience to watch every step of this construction process

Our improvements would not be possible without your support!
Your donations to our general fund make our Home successful. Our sponsors help us feed and clothe the children and provide tuition for college students, but we rely on donations to our general fund for the unexpected things that come along like maintenance, or plumbing repairs and more. We couldn’t keep transforming the lives of young people in India without these additional donations, please help us however you can.
