News Too Good to Keep to Ourselves!

Young girl at the Children of Faith Home in India

We’re bursting with pride to share that Tejaswini has scored a 98.3% in Junior College. This is one of the highest scores in her class. We know it reflects hard work on her part, but also reflects the efforts of COF’s teachers over the years.

We expected nothing less from Tejaswini, she is hard working and focused.

— Tejaswini's math teacher

Tejaswini’s favorite subject is math, she hopes to work for the Indian Administrative office. When she is not spending free time with her COF friends, Lisa Swathi and Mounika, she is studying or reading. Her favorite books is “The Book of Science”. She loves learning about nature. This inquisitive quality has no doubt helped her exceed in school.

I am very excited and grateful for my results-98.3% I'm celebrating this moment with my COF family who have always supported me with love and care. I'm especially thankful for the education I've received at Children of Faith-it made this possible. Thank you to everyone who has prayed for me and all of us, even from across the seas. I'm deeply thankful to my sponsors and everyone who has been part of my journey and success.

— Tejaswini, 12th grade

Tejaswini came to Children of Faith a few years ago following the death of her father, leaving her single Mom struggling to make ends meet. She was quiet and a bit sad when she joined us, now she she is confident and outgoing.

We are so proud of Tejaswini, she's very dedicated and focused. Its been a joy to watch her blossom in to a beautiful young lady. She kept to herself when she first arrived, but now we see she is outgoing and always willing to help our younger children with school work.

At Children of Faith we know that education for our young girls is a powerful catalyst for social and economic change. It not only empowers our girls to make informed choices about their lives but also contributes to the overall development of their communities. When girls are educated, they are more likely to delay marriage, have healthier families, and participate in the workforce, thereby breaking the cycle of poverty. In a country as diverse and populous as India, investing in girls’ education helps bridge gender gaps, promotes equality, and enhances the potential of future generations. Bringing a quality education to our children, girls and boys, is a priority at Children Of Faith.

Education is the key to changing lives

You can help Children of Faith continue transforming lives with excellent care and education for some of India’s most vulnerable children by contributing to Children of Faith’s Education and Scholarship fund. Help give students like Tejaswini the chance to pursue their dreams with a good education.
