Father’s Day is a special opportunity to honor the men who guide, protect, encourage, and love us. At Children of Faith, Father’s Day is also a time to reflect on the many father figures who have helped shape the lives of our children throughout the years.
Many of the children who come to our Home have experienced difficult circumstances and have not always had the stability of a loving family. That is why the caring adults who invest in their lives play such an important role. Through their example, our children learn what it means to be supported, encouraged, and valued.
This Father’s Day, we are especially grateful for Anand Thandu, whose leadership, compassion, and commitment have impacted generations of children at Children of Faith. Alongside Rosie, he has dedicated his life to creating a safe and loving environment where children can grow, learn, and discover their God-given potential.
Whether helping with schoolwork, offering guidance through life’s challenges, celebrating accomplishments, or simply sharing a smile, Anand demonstrates the heart of a father every day. His influence reaches far beyond the walls of the Home as alumni carry the lessons they learned into their own families and communities.
We are also thankful for the many fathers, grandfathers, mentors, church leaders, sponsors, and supporters who partner with us. As we celebrate Father’s Day, we are reminded of our Heavenly Father, whose love never fails. His faithfulness has guided Children of Faith through every season and continues to provide hope for the future.
