This past week, we celebrated Children’s Day! The teachers planned a wonderful day filled with fun activities, games, and delicious food and snacks. Our children felt truly special—they came dressed in their best outfits, and one of our teachers, Ramesh, even dressed up like a student to add to the excitement. Everyone enjoyed a special cake to finish off the celebration.

Children’s Day is celebrated in India to raise awareness about the rights, education, and well-being of children. It takes place every year on 14 November, the birthday of India’s first Prime Minister, Jawaharlal Nehru, who was known for his deep affection for children.

The children really enjoyed the day, as did the teachers and staff!

We Have so Much to Celebrate with 120 Children in our Home
The children are at the heart of our home, and caring for and educating them is our highest priority. After 20 years, we are seeing the incredible impact of this work. Won’t you join us in transforming the lives of young people in India?
Your support reaches far beyond the children themselves. When our young people receive an education that empowers them to thrive, they go on to uplift their families and strengthen their communities. Your partnership helps create lasting change.
