Today was a truly special day as Shanti visited our campus with her father and her two children, Manasseh and Neerikshana. It was such a joy to spend time together, looking through old photographs and remembering many wonderful moments from the past.
Visits from our older children are always a blessing. There is something incredibly rewarding about seeing how they have grown, hearing about their lives, and witnessing God’s faithfulness in their journey. It is also meaningful to introduce them to the newer children who are now part of the Children of Faith family.
Here Shanti is pictured in 2016 when she lived at the Children of Faith Home.

Shanti was especially excited to see the many changes on campus, including the new dining hall. As we walked around together, we shared memories, life updates, heartfelt conversations, and even some of those special moments where no words were needed because the bond remains strong.

Shanti and her family are doing well. Although they now live about seven hours away, Children of Faith continues to hold a special place in her heart. During her visit, we talked about her years here, sponsor relationships, high school mission trips, and the impact those experiences had on her life.
One thing that touched us deeply was hearing her say that she still misses us and Children of Faith and is grateful that it remains her home. Those words remind us that while children may grow up and move on, they will always be part of the Children of Faith family.
As Shanti, Manasseh, and Neerikshana return home after their visit, we are thankful for the opportunity to reconnect, celebrate all that God has done in her life, and witness the next generation growing up in God’s faithfulness.

“Once a Children of Faith child, always a part of the Children of Faith family.”
Visits like Shanti’s remind us that the impact of Children of Faith extends far beyond childhood. When a young girl arrives at the Home in need of love, stability, and opportunity, the investment made by caring supporters helps shape not only her future, but the future of generations to come. Seeing our alumna return with her own children is a beautiful picture of lives transformed and a legacy that continues to grow.
You can help create more stories like Shanti’s. Your financial support provides children with a safe home, education, spiritual guidance, and the opportunity to build a brighter future. Will you partner with us today to help another child discover hope, reach their potential, and one day return as a thriving adult who is changing the world around them?
