COF goes to the Circus
There are some days that stay with you long after they are over. Children of Faith’s recent trip to the circus was one of those days—a day stitched together with laughter, wide eyes, sticky fingers, and memories that will be carried for a very long time.
For most of the children, this was their very first visit to a circus. From the moment all 120 children boarded the bus, excitement buzzed in the air. There were endless questions: Will there be clowns? Will we see animals? Will they fly? The ride itself felt like part of the adventure, filled with songs, chatter, and nervous giggles.

As we arrived, the bright colors of the big tent rose before us like something out of a storybook. Music floated through the air, and the smell of popcorn and sweet treats followed us inside. Little hands held tightly onto caregivers’ fingers, eyes already sparkling with anticipation.

Once the show began, the magic truly unfolded.
The children gasped as acrobats soared through the air, flipping and spinning with fearless grace. Laughter erupted when the clowns appeared, tripping over their own feet, pulling silly faces, and inviting the children to laugh without holding back. For a while, worries disappeared. There was only joy, surprise, and the simple pleasure of being entertained.

Last Saturday I went to the circus with my friends. A circus is a fun show. The circus place is big and colorful. The best part of the circus is the Bike Rider. The Circus made me feel happy.

One of the most special moments was watching the children watch the show. Some leaned forward in their seats, mouths open in amazement. Others clapped so hard their hands turned red. A few laughed until tears rolled down their cheeks. These were not just performers on a stage—they were dream-makers, opening a door to imagination and possibility.

For our children, experiences like this are more than just outings. They are reminders that the world can be kind, colorful, and full of delight. They offer a chance to feel included, celebrated, and carefree—if only for an afternoon.
After the show, the excitement continued all the way home. The children reenacted their favorite acts, pretending to be acrobats, clowns, and ringmasters. Stories were told and retold, each version more dramatic than the last. Even dinner that night was filled with animated conversations and laughter. Later in their classrooms the children wrote about this magical outing.

Thank you for helping us create a day that felt magical from beginning to end. The circus may have packed up its tent and moved on, but the joy it brought will remain with our children for a long time to come.
